AGS utilizes an interdisciplinary, problem based curriculum. Students participate in thematic studies of key concepts as viewed through the lens of multiple academic disciplines. The traditional dividing lines between the various core courses are broken down as students explore the interrelatedness of the natural sciences and the social sciences, of mathematics and the arts, of world language study and literature, of communication and technology. AGS students are required to participate in community service and service learning opportunities while studying in the program as well.
