Family Agreement Committee
The Family Agreement Committee has begun meeting. Our first meeting was held on February 24, 2010.The task of this group is to write the first draft of how AGS will go forward as a part of Austin High. We began by looking at the original program design, as set forth by the International Studies Schools Network of the Asia Society, with whom we are still very much affiliated, and are drafting a customized version of this model for the Austin High setting. Once the first draft is complete, Dr. Calzada will facilitate a meeting that includes the AGS part of the committee, as well as the non-AGS side of the house. Both groups are represented by two parents, two teachers and two students. A summary of our work to date is on the AHS website and is updated after each meeting.
